The Sin of Omission
Why is a sin of omission worse then a sin of deception? Why, because in doing so the person ommiting the truth does not feel as though their doing anything wrong which means their behavior will never stop. There is only a feeling of accomplishment, no feelings of guilt. They feel as though they are actually doing the right thing by convincing themselves that "Oh they won't understand that what I was doing was truly innocent, or they'll only get mad because their temper is out of control." When the truth is, its just as bad, if not worst then lying. Why is it worst? Because when lying, you are, at the very least giving the opposite party the chance to see you for who you truly are, whither they believe the lie or not. But when hiding the truth you are not giving that person that privilege. You see, this back fires when said person your committing this sin against already knows the truth. Then all you doing to showing them your true colors, insulting their intelligence and motivating vengeance. So understand the difference and stop now. Especially if you love them. Stop now!! Cause I'm telling you, Karma is a bitch.
